Points aren't an indication of how well you're doing. That's accuracy. Points are determined by how much you have coloured in, and then adjusted for what is correct. I get 4 point cubes regularly. Sometimes there's very little, or absolutely nothing to colour in. The system won't reward you 1000 points for that. I'll give you an example...

[Image: b3821cf88eac97fee9c39e6ad940707268c009f2.jpg]

This is a cube submitted by a user. The left cube was how it started out, with the tiny yellow pieces being the only parts the computer knew about. On the right in orange, is what the user did to complete the cube. That's quite a bit of colouring in. If this was a L1 cube, it could easily be worth 600 to 800 points, and double that amount if it was a L2.

Now compare it to this one:

[Image: 1ecf8209dbbb9708f4267776e33f09c8dedefe51.png]

As a L1 cube, it would be worth 20 or 30 points. The tracing was done just fine, so accuracy will still be 95%-100%. It's just that there isn't much that needs to be coloured in.

I'm almost positive I messed up big time on this one... I'll submit it anyway

I know points don't determine how good I'm doing...

I just got 25 points again but I'm pretty sure I messed up big time

One second. I'll highlight a few things for you in an image...

EDIT: Okay, with your first cube, it's at an angle that is very hard to see the continuation of the darker blue piece, so I can't say much for it. The large round part in the corner shouldn't be there though.

Your second cube is a little easier to see, but it's still quite difficult to be entirely sure of, based on a single image. I did my best though:

On the 3D view, I have outlined a seam. This is where two cells are touching each other. Assuming the lower part is a continuation of the original, the cell above needs to be removed. I have placed a cross on the relevant area in the 2D view, and put a couple of lines beside that same seam, which you can see is not perfectly coloured in, with a few pixels missing along the edge. I then circled a couple of things that could have been coloured in. There are another two smaller areas to colour in at the bottom, but I uploaded the wrong image, so they are missing from here.

Okay, thanks

I'll try again

You're off to a good start there.

Just need to colour in that tiny little corner in red. Also, looking at your 3D view, the bottom appears jagged, so it probably still needs to continue a little more.

RE: EyeWire
Hard to tell now, since the end is obscured. The ones I am sure of that need removing are shown below:

By the way, you can also request help in the EyeWire chat. Just ask someone to watch your cube, and they can show you. More effective than me basing things off single images.

...Unless I start using Teamviewer...

RE: EyeWire
No worries. Let me know how you're doing once you get past 60 cubes. Your accuracy is an average of the last 60 cubes you've done, so as you do more and gain experience, your beginner cubes will start to get pushed out of the accuracy data. Hopefully you should see a significant jump by the time you've done several more cubes after that.
