Fallout 4
Fallout is easily one of my favorite game series, so I'm probably a lil too close to fanboy levels of excitement, but:

Maaaan, I've put so many hours into the third game, and I'm still daily certain I haven't done more than three quarters of everything.

RE: Fallout 4
Same here. On my character with the highest completion I still have to finish 1 of the DLCs, plus I know there's a decent chunk of side quests I've yet to discover! Not to mention my several 'more/difficult monsters' and realistic gun physics mods combined with my lack of fast travel use means I usually have to spend a decent amount of time just traveling evading death across the map to my next quest marker Applejackconfused

New Vegas is an entirely different story though. I still have the monsters, guns, & difficulty mods, but I fast travel about 50% of the time if the distance is more than a couple minute walk. I also only have one character, which is only about halfway through the story. I don't know why, but I just don't get that 'gotta-play-moar!" feeling from NV that I got from 3

I know I'm getting this, likely the CE, regardless of what I hear. I have enough trust in Bethesda to believe they won't fudge it up too much at worst. Bugs aside, that is >_>

Yup, I have high hopes for it. Plus there's such a massive modding community around Fallout, and bethesda games in general, that even if they mess up on something a lil bigger than the usual bugs I'm sure modders will have fixes ready.

I'm hyped, shit just got real.

It genuinely looks like they cared about making this the best fallout game to date! Seriously, pretty much everything I found lacking in 3 and NV seems to have been put into the game. No more waiting for conversations to end, when someone says something stupid, I can real time just shoot 'em in the face! Even better is crafting is now a legitimate thing!

I've never been very interested in the Fallout games, but a constructable environment has me interested. That's a very cool feature.

The Pip-Boy app sounds pretty cool. I was amused by the presenter saying it was the best gimmick he'd seen.
