The way it works is that there is a base image, which you can see on the first page in the list, and then the rest of the text is added in, based on your stats. If you give me a link to an image you want to use (plus any info on cropping/modifications/stuff), I can have the banner made and uploaded, ready for use in a matter of minutes.

I suppose I COULD add a few lines to the code to allow the user to change the font as he or she sees fit, but in all honesty, I don't see why, and it ruins the consistency a bit. In any case, even if I were to do it, it wouldn't be for a while, since I have more important things to fix on the site.

lol, I meant the font that says "Folding is Magic" or "Brony@Home" that most of the banners have at the bottom.

I appreciate the offer, but I would like to try my hand at making a banner. (I find your lack of Scootaloo Disturbing, which is only pacified by the Derpy Banner for now. )

In theory, that font could pretty easily be made customisable, but again, I'm not sure whether we really want that.

I wouldn't mind it being changed for all users, though, it doesn't look that great at the moment.

Ahh, that one. I could experiment with different font styles, but I don't have the time to do it immediately.

Not too bad, but this was why I preferred to make it myself. The actual image you have is good, but I want to keep the rest consistent. That is, how the transparent box looks, as well as the text underneath.

I didn't realize untill I saw it side by side that the box was actually grey, and not black. I could edit it some more and get it close...

It would be easier if you uploaded a template for people to use. I would say, either a the source file (.PSD) or a .PNG that had people could just slap over a background (example).

If you would still rather do it yourself, then I used this image, and I was going to make another one using this image.

Here's the template:

The layers should be retained, so you should be able to change the font colour and such.

They kinda do, I've used layers in PNG before, just opened that template and it has layers.

Yeah, when I opened that image in Photoshop, it complained about some legacy layer settings from Fireworks.
Anyways, Here is the image, will you please add it, if you think it looks okay.

Can you delete the Brony@Home text at the bottom? I'll add that in a way that it looks visible. Other than that, it looks good!

Done!

[Image: sigimage.php?u=638460&t=212997&b=scootaloo1]

The reason I asked you to delete the text was so that I could add a contrasting glow effect to it, so that it would be easier to read. I didn't know if you were able to do that on your own, so rather than guiding you through it, it would have been easier if I did it myself.

As for everyone else, the image IDs are cmc1 and scootaloo1, if you want to use them.
