When it takes you 10 minutes to upload a 6MB WU and you lose 2,000 points because of it

ISPs man. They are literally the worst. possible. thing.

If your router has Quality of Service, you could always setup priority for Folding@Home work units.

Going to replace the thermal pads on my GPU and attempt to fold for a few days/weeks to see if the temperature improves. Something is not quite right if a 1080 is reaching 50c on the core and downclocking its memory on a triple 360 custom loop.

thermal pads? you should try this stuff https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...6835154012
I think it performs better than arctic silver.

Nah the actual thermal pads for the VRMs. I think I may have used the wrong thickness and it wasn't making good contact. I have plenty of thermal paste for the core :P

I don't know, I'm running my 1080 blower at 100% fan speed, stock, and hitting 70 in an air conditioned room. Are you expecting greater than 20 degrees difference for a water cooling setup?

Yes? My 780ti (which has a much, much higher TDP at 250 vs 180) rarely ever got more than 40c and absolutely never downclocked itself.

Hmm, I never expected water cooling to do that much.
